Frostburg. Md. April 20— Mrs. Minnie May Riley Downton Aul, aged 52 years, known in Frostburg, died at her home, 6216 Hoeveler street, East End, Pittsburgh, Saturday. She is the wife of Andrew Aul. The funeral will be conducted from the home Tuesday.

AULT, Mrs. Edna Frances Ketterman
PETERSBURG, W. Va. - Mrs. Edna Frances Ault, 62, wife of Andrew Ault, Upper Tract, died yesterday following a brief illness.
Born in Grant County, she was a daughter of the late James and Virginia (VanMeter) Ketterman.
Surviving besides her husband, are six sons, Kermit, Charles, and Loy Ault, all of Baltimore; Allen Ault, Petersburg; Walter Ault, Rockville, Md., and James Ault, with the Army at Warrenton, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs. Edith Holloway, Brushy Run; Mrs. Ruth Helmick and Mrs. Minnie Stump, both of Martinsburg, and Mrs. Mary Miller, Gainesville, Va.; a brother, Jesse F. Ketterman, Rawlings, Md.; seven sisters, Mrs. May Flanagan, Mrs. Sarah Flanagan, Mrs. Lelia Davis, Mrs. Texie Moreland, Mrs. Zura Gordon and Mrs. Flora Mills, all of Rawlings, and Mrs. Sadie Iser, Danville, Md., and 22 grandchildren.
The body is at the Schaeffer Funeral Home here where the famiy will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Petersburg Methodist Church by Rev. John Berg and interment will be in Waxler Cemetery, Danville.

AULT, Mrs. Edna Pearl Mayfield
Edna Pearl Ault, 67, of Masontown, was dead on arrival at St. Vincent Pallotti Hospital friday afternoon from an apparent heart attack.
She was born in Masontown on Aug. 12, 1903, a daughter of the late Frank and Laura Sanders Mayfield.
Survivors include two sons, L. Frank Ault of Akron, Ohio, and George Ault of Masontown; four daughters, Mrs. Bob (Edith) Liston and Mrs. Kermit (Betty) Stuchell, both of Arthurdale, Mrs. Dennis (Mary) Loughry Jr. of Uffington and Mrs. Thurl (Hesper) Breese of Courtland, Ohio; one brother, Jack Mayfield of Baltimore; four sisters, Mrs. Edith Trowbridge, Mrs. Grace McMillen, both of Masontown, Mrs. Dora McCardle of Akron and Mrs. Flora Goff of Virginia; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ault, in 1963, three brothers, one sister, one son, and two daughters.
Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home in Reedsville Saturday from 6-9 p.m., Sunday from 1-9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m., when the body will be moved to the Arthurdale Community Presbyterian Church to line in state until 1 p.m., the time of services with the Rev. Raymond B. Spivey officiating. Burial will be in the Arthurdale Cemetery.

AUSTIN, Mrs. Bertha L. Martz
MEYERSDALE — Mrs. Bertha L. Austin, 88, died Thursday in Pittsburgh. A native of Glencoe, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Rebecca (Kennell) Martz and was a widow of John W. Austin who died in 1957. She is survived by several stepchildren, nieces and nephews. The body is at the Price Funeral Home where friends will be received after 7 p.m. today. A service will be conducted there Monday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Paul Snyder. Interment will be in the Hyndman Cemetery.

MEYERSDALE, Pa. — Charles Austin, 86, died Tuesday. A native of Cornwell, England, Mr. Austin was born July 23, 1872. He was a son of the late John and Mary (Rowe) Austin. His wife, Mrs. Ellen (Michael) Austin preceded him in death. Surviving are the following children, Miss Esther Austin, at home; Mrs. Mary Barmoy, Robert Austin and E. Richard Austin, all of here; James Austin, RD 3, Meyersdale; Mrs. Nell Tressler, Akron Ohio; Oscar Austin, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Mrs. Hazel Sherlock, New York City; Mrs. Elsie Johnson, Gary, Ind.; William Austin, Boswell, Pa.; and Mrs. Helen Heffley, Managua, Nicaragua. Also surviving are two half-brothers, Thomas Austin of here and Lee Austin, Cuyahoga Falls; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The body is at the Price Funeral Home. A service will held at the funeral home on Saturday at 2 p. m. with interment in the Union Cemetery.

AUVIL, Dorian Odus
Dorian Odus Auvil, 42 of Charleston, died at his home June 18.
He was a computer programmer-analyst for the state of West Virginia, an elder at Ruffner Church, Charleston, and a member of the church's daycare board. He was a graduate of Charleston High School, the University of Charleston, and West Virginia State College.
Born February 14, 1959, at Aurora, he was the son of the late Troy and Rena James Auvil.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Kourey Auvil; two daughters, Rheana and Anna, both of Charleston; five sisters, Leoda Forney Mally, Charleston, Arvella Smith, Canton, Ohio, Dorothy Hauser, Terra Alta, Selma Cummings, Aurora, and Jeckie Boggess, Rainelle; and five brothers, Troy of Scott Depot, Huey of Leavenworth, Kan., Norman of Springfield, Pa., Alton of Aurora, James of Vermont, and Kenneth of Aurora.
Services were conducted in Charleston on June 21 at the Ruffner Presbyterian. Church by Pastor Amy Parker, and on June 22 at the Aurora United Methodist Church by Pastor Mary Conley. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Thomas.

AVERY, Charles H.
SOMERSET — Charles H. Avery, 70, of Acosta, died in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born at Scottdale May 7, 1887, a son of Richard and Nellie Robinson Avery. He leaves his widow, the former Polly Michaels; six children, 32 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Robinson of Richmond, Va., and two brothers, Albert J. and Richard M. of Maryland. He was a retired employee of the Bird Coal Company at Kelso. He and his wife had planned to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary.

AVIRETT, Rev James Battle
CUMBERLAND MD Feb 16 - Rev Dr James Battle Avirett died here this afternoon. Dr Avirett was a retired clergyman of the Protestant Episcopal church. He had ben pastor at many places in the South.
He is said to have ben the latest surviving chaplain of the confederate Army, having served an Alabama regiment. Dr Avirett had high literary attainments. He wrote a book, "The Old Plantation" which described life in the South before the war.
For several years after his retirement from the clergy he wrote editorials for the Cumberland Evening Times, of which his only son, Col John Avirett is editor and owner. Interment was at Winchester Va.

AYERS, Mrs. Nellie M. Dively
Meyersdale - Mrs. Nellie M. Ayers, 82, of Berlin, died in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, Hayes S. in 1946, she leaves one son, three daughters, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
