James Preston Quan, Jr., infant son of James P. and Jessie Marie (Meekins) Quan, 340 Central Avenue, died Friday in Allegany Hospltal. Also surviving are a sister, Marie Annette Quan, at home, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meekins, this city.
Two Bodies in One Casket Mrs. Charles Quantz, wife of a well known boat builder, died Saturday morning. Her 2 year old adopted child died the evening before, and in accordance with a request of Mrs. Quantz, the two were buried in on one casket.

"Mrs. Orlo C. Quay-Mrs. Bertha Estella Quay, 70, a native of Cresaptown, died April 20 at her home 209 West Garfield Avenue, Swanton, Ohio. Born in Cresaptown, she was a daughter of the late Chester A. and Amaelia S. (Brant) Robison. She had resided in Ohio for several years and was a member of the United Christian Assembly, Toledo. She is survived by her husband, Orlo C. Quay, four sons, Ralph Quay, Swanton, Ohio; Melvin G. Quay, Brooklyn, N. Y.; Glen Quay, Burbank, Calif,; and Orlo Quay, Jr., Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Lauretta Loar, Toldeo; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Shimer, Westernport; Mrs. Orland Robinson, McCoole; Mrs. Mary Bedal, Toledo, and 17 grandchildren.

FROSTBURG — Benjamin Quinn, 70, an employe of the Amcelle Celanese Corporation, who resided at the Gunter Hotel, died following a heart attack yesterday in the office of the hotel. He had been in failing health and recently had been a patient in Miners Hospital. A native of Lonaconing, he was a son of the late James and Marian (Nichol) Quinn. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene at Frostburg. Surviving are four sons, Benjamin Jr., Arthur, William, and Howard Quinn, all of Frostburg; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Slingloff, Mrs. Catherine Pfaff, Mrs. Jack Duncan, and Mrs. Thomas Burl, all of Frostburg; four brothers, James, Shaft; Alex, Midland; George, Turtle Creek, Pa.; and William Quinn, Star Junction, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. John Stevenson, and Miss Marian R. Quinn, both of Wilmerding, Pa. His wife died six years ago. The body is at the home of Mrs. Burl, Beall Street.
Daniel C. Quinn died at his home in Clarksburg last Sunday morning. He formerly lived in Keyser and was in the mercantile business, consequently was well known to many of our citizens. He leaves a wife, who was formerly a Miss Templeton, and several children.
Daniel Quinn, aged 56 years, former merchant of this city, passed away at his home at the corner of Oak and East Main streets Sunday morning at 11 o'clock after several years' illness of cancer of the stomach. Mr. Quinn had been critically ill the last three weeks and his death was expected. All the members were at his bedside when he died. Mr Quinn had a large number of friends who are sorry to hear of his death. The deceased man is survived by his widow, three brothers, a sister, two sons, and two daughters. The brothers are John F. of Jolliet, Ill; James, of Freemansburg, Mo., and Bernard, of Bowling Green, Neb. The sister is Mr. Thomas Ryan, of Chicago. The sons are J. Ray and Junior. The daughters are Misses Isabelle and Mary. The children all reside at home. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. LONACONING — Frank Quinn, 86. of here, died this morning in Miners Hospital, Frostburg. A native of Johnstown, Pa., he was a son of the late James and Sarah (Murray) Quinn. His wife, Mrs. Margaret (McHugh) Quinn, preceded him in death. He was a former postmaster of Lonaconing and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the church's Holy Name Society. Survivors include two sisters, Mary and Julia Quinn, both of Midland. The body is at the Eichhorn Funera l Home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home tomorrow at 7:30 p. m. A requiem mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9 a. m. in St. Mary's Church by Rev. Thomas Fannon, pastor. "Lonaconing, July 26. Mrs. Margaret (McHugh) Quinn, 64, wife of Postmaster J. Frank Quinn, died Friday at 7:15 p. m. at a hospital near Baltimore, where she had been a patient for the past week. A native of Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Conway) McHugh; both born in Ireland. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin. She was interested in church work and other charitable activities. Surviving besides her husband, is a nephew, Private Edward Mooney at Fort Knox, Ky., whom she reared, and the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. Patrick Doolan, Lonaconing; Mrs. Mary Powers and John McHugh, Cumberland; Michael McHugh, Pittsburgh and Sister John Gabriel, Holy Name Convent, St. Joseph's Order of Sisters, Washington, D.

Born at Shaft, she was a daughter of the late James and Anna (Morgan) Tippen. Her husband, James A. Quinn, preceded her in death. Mrs. Quinn was a member of St. Michael 's Catholic Church, here. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Stella Quinn, at home; two sons, James Quinn, Eckhart, and William P. Quinn, of here; a brother, Allen Tippen, Detroit, Mich.; three grandchilden and six great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, where friends will be received Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
